Coral Bell- Crème Brule

The Coral Bells, 'Crème Brule', 'Heuchera 'Dolce Crème Brule' PPAF', is a new and exciting variety in the coral bell family. With a height of 8-12" and a plant spread of 16-24", this perennial is hardy from zones 5-9. It is grown more for its foliage color but the small blooms with attract hummingbirds. The improvements on this coral bell must be seen to be appreciated. It features creamy colors and rosy brown sugar highlights. 'Crème Brule' will tolerate morning sun but does require afternoon shade. Use this coral bell as a ground cover, in rock gardens, as a border plant or as an edger along paths and walkways. Evening Primrose - Glowing Magenta The Evening Primrose, Glowing Magenta, 'Oenothera kunthiana', is a new Oenothera unlike any other. The deep pink flowers stand out against its deep green foliage. It has a plant height of 6” and a spread of 5-10”. ‘Glowing Magenta’ is unusually compact for its species and has an extremely long flowering time, (June to September. ) Oenothera requires full sun and needs a good drainage site. Try planting ‘Glowing Magenta’ with Salvia, Achillea or Columbine. For a wonderful sun ground cover, one will not want to leave ‘Glowing Magenta’ out of their garden.
