Hibiscus - Torchy - PPAF
The Hibiscus 'Torchy', is one of the darkest red flowering varieties in the Fleming series. It aslo has very thick ruffled flowers that make it somewhat unique. 'Torchy' stands 4' in height and has 3 lobed leaves that are light green and offer a very interesting contrast. Mullein - Bananna Custard The Verbascum Banana Custard, 'Verbascum hybridum', also known as Mullein, has huge, two-toned flowers that are useful in any perennial garden. The foliage is light green, which adds contrast to the flower color. ‘Banana Custard’ has a plant height of 2-4’ and a plant spread of 1-2’ and blooms from late spring into summer. Removing spent flowers to encourage additional bloom time. ‘Banana Custard’ can be planted in rocky slopes to add color, as a border plant or in cottage gardens.
