Monk's Cap Collection

The Monk's Cap Collection, contains 5 roots, 1 each of the following varieties; cammarum 'Bicolor', carmichaelii 'Fischeri', grandiflora 'Alba', Napellus and napellus 'Rubellum'. They have beautiful clusters of flower spikes that look like a Monk's hood. The helmet-shaped flowers, above clumps of divided dark green leaves, will provide a standout for your landscape. These plants want persistently moist well-draining soil in a sunny location or very slightly shaded; they will not bloom well in much shade. Propagation is by division every few years, though an established clump never really likes disruption. Use as an excellent garden display, or for greenhouse. Gather up the diverse colors of the Monk's Caps and make a stunning bouquet. ... more information
