Moss - Irish

The Sagina Irish Moss, 'Sagina subulata', is one of the most popular ground covers around. The lush, deep green foliage stays compact and produces tiny white flowers. It is extremely dense and spready by creeping stems to form it mossy carpet. ‘Irish Moss’ is not known for its flowering but its foliage. It has a plant height of 1-2” and a spread of 6-12”. ‘Irish Moss’ performs best in full sun and in moist, well-drained soil. The tiny white flowers will appear late spring into early summer. Pixie Miracle Grace is early blooming and has a long bloom time, has a plant height of 15-20” and is extremely mildew resistant. It is a definite addition to any perennial garden. Pixie Miracle Grace needs to be planted in a full sun area in well-drained soil. Use Pixie Miracle Grace in rock gardens, as a border or in a cut flower garden.
