Salvia - Victoria Blue
The Salvia Victoria Blue, ' Salvia farinacea', is a compact plant that flowers later but can continue blooming for a long time. Victora Blue has intense deep blue flowers. Victoria Blue Salvia is great for center pieces in containers or in mass plantings in rows or as backdrop for other shorter flowers. Victoria is a dwarf form of the species only getting up to 1-2 feet tall. The plant habit is erect but densely branched. This Salvia is also known as Mealy-Cup Sage because the flowers and stems are fuzzy. The bluish green leaves and the deep blue flower spikes bloom all summer long until first frost in autumn.
