Scabiosa - Pink Lemonade
The Scabiosa Pink Lemonade, 'Scabiosa columbaria', also known as Pincushion Flower, has wonderful light pink flowers that bloom from June to October. ‘Pink Lemondae’ is a reminiscent of a pincushion full of pins. With its green foliage, it has a plant height of 10” and a spread of 12-18"and is disease resistant. It is best to plant Scabiosa in full sun, with well-drained soil and it should be watered regularly throughout the warmer months to increase its overall performance. Deadheading after the first bloom will encourage repeat bloom time. ‘Pink Lemonade’ is great for attracting butterflies and hummingbirds and does excellent in rock gardens. Hosta - Tokudama It has greenish yellow puckered leaves with variable blue-green margins. The white flowers of this hosta appear in mid summer on 18 inch stems, however hosta’s are not known for their flowers. Hosta’s provide bright color in shade with wonderful foliage and Tokudama Aureonebulosa is no exception.
