The Tomato Cherry Sugar Sweetie, 'Lycopersicon lycopersicum', is a highly regarded, perfect cherry tomato for classic tomato flavor in salads or right out of the garden. This delicious organic tomato is well known for it's strong tomato flavor. The Sugar Sweetie has large numbers of 3/4 to 1 inch cherry tomatoes that are produced in grape-like clusters on 2 foot tall plants. They are an excellent container variety. Tomatoes are generally started inside. They may also be seeded outside after the last average frost date. In warm winter/hot summer areas, tomatoes can be planted in early fall for winter harvest. Tomatoes prefer well drained soil that is high in organic matter. Tomatoes need at least 1 inch of water a week. Soak to depth of 6 to 10 inches when watering. Argent is a white sweet corn with superb sweet, creamy flavor and excellent cultivation traits. Argent sweet corn adapts well to cool soils and has a high tolerance ot Stewart's Wilt and Northern Corn Leaf Blight. In the deep south, this can be as early as February. Successive plantings in two week intervals will produce a much longer cropping season. Corn prefers a deep, rich well drained soil. Harvest the ears when the husks are dark green and the silks are brown but not brittle. Corn is usually ready 3 weeks after silks appear.
