Honeysuckle Mandarin The Honeysuckle 'Mandarian', 'Lonicera x 'Mandarin' PP#11083, also known as Mandarin Honeysuckle, produces lovely, fragrant, orange flowers beginning in early summer and blooming all the way through late fall. The Mandarin attracts the attention of hummingbirds and butterflies. New foliage has a copper color that matures to a dark, glossy green. Be sure to provide it a support to climb on right away or soon after it's planted. This Honeysuckle is an excellent choice for new landscapes, patio containers, or bare patches by walls for some vertical coverage. Also excellent as a hardy flowering vine on a trellis, fence, pergola, arbor or up trees or over large shrubs.
Japanese Honeysuckle Halliana Japanese Honeysuckle 'Halliana', Lonicera japonica 'Halliana', is the most commonly seen Honeysuckle and is also known as Hall's Honeysuckle. It has whitish-yellow flowers with a delightful fragrance. Hall's Honeysuckles are a very fast growing plant to 15 to 30 feet. When used as a ground cover, they are about 2 feet tall. It is also a reliable, fragrant evergreen vine for a shade arbor.
Trumpet Creeper The Trumpet Creeper, Campsis radicans, is a rapid growing, clinging vine that produces orange trumpet shaped flowers in the summer months that attract hummingbirds and butterflies. The invasive nature of this plant makes it hard to get rid of but also very hardy. The abundant sprays of trumpet-shaped orange flowers cover this deciduous vine for an extra long bloom season. Trumpet Creepers are often grown with multiple trunks. The rapid growth makes it an excellent plant for covering fences or arbors.
Ivy English The English Ivy, Hedera helix, is a classic, fan-shaped, silver green English Ivy from the Fall Magic collection. English Ivy is a strong growing, trailing variety that's great for baskets, containers, or as a groundcover. The dense growth and abundant leaves form a thick canopy just above the ground, and prevent sunlight from reaching other plants. It is widely used by homewoners, hirticulturists, landscape contractors and others desiring a fast growing, low maintainence, evergreen cover.
Dropmore Scarlet Honeysuckle Vine The Dropmore Scarlet Honeysuckle Vine, Lonicera 'Dropmore Scarlet', is a vining honeysuckle that is very winter hardy and easy to grow. It has loads of fragrant scarlet-orange, tubular flowers from June to September. Dropmore Scarlet Honeysuckle Vines do best in at least a half day of full sun in consistently moist, organic soil. Be sure to give it a support to climb on right away or soon after it's planted. Easy to grow in fertile, well-drained soil.
Ivy Duckfoot The Duckfoot Vine, Hedera Helix, has small, matt, olive green, rounded, fan shaped leaves that look just like little duck feet. Duckfoots have fast growing short internodes and a good self branching habit. A nicely trailing variety that's especially good in baskets. Other uses are for groundcover indoors and terrariums.
Five Leaf Akebia Although flowers are unusual, they may appear in late March to early April and are fragrant. Akebia is deciduous in cool climates and remain evergreen in warmer regions. Because it is a rapid grower, one will need to cut back Akebia throughout the season and to the ground at the end of the summer.
Variegated Mountain Fleece The new spring leaves are variegated pink and white. As the leaves mature thay turn a marbled white and green with pink hilights and red stems. The colorful heart-shaped leaves make this plant a favorite for cut foliage for flower arranging.
Lemon Lace Vine It can climb up to 25’ and has small, creamy white flowers that cluster the golden foliage. The flowers can bloom twice, in late spring and early fall and are very fragrant. Plant this hardy vine in full sun and in a moist to well drained soil.
Aunt Dee Wisteria Prune after flowering. All parts of plant are poisonous if ingested.
Trumpet Creeper Indian Summer Indian Summer is a more subdued grower than other Trumpet Creepers.
Boston Ivy The plant tolerates dry soil .
Dutchmans Pipe Dutchman's Pipe, Aristolochia durior, is primarily grown for foliage.
Yellow Trumpet Creeper The invasive nature of this plant makes it hard to get rid of but also very hardy.
